A native Rhode Islander and a native Houstonian who share two beautiful Georgia peaches. Michael is a management consultant for a global consulting firm and Tiffany is the co-owner of a national franchise. They have been married for 21 years and aspire to give back to coming generations. 

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

BACKGROUND

The Wilson Philanthropic Initiative will award a one-time book scholarship to an HBCU student. The recipient will be eligible for an award up to $500 in an effort to obtain the literature required for their required courses.  

CRITERIA

- Complete and sign application on or before deadline of August 1, 2025

- Submit proof of registration to selected HBCU 

- Graduating high school senior (2025 graduate) or current college student

- Must achieve and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher (transcript required)

- Submit a one page letter on why you should be selected for the award

- Letter of recommendation

Meet the 2022-2023 WPI Scholar

Aerial Thomas is a junior at Prairie View A&M University. She is pursuing a degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Forensic Science.  She is a part of the Women In Stem Club and is a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. We are honored to have her as our 2nd annual WPI Scholar!
